The Meeting Room is situated in the East Sydney Community and Arts Centre (ESCAC) centrally located in Darlinghurst’s creative hub made possible through the generous support of City of Sydney. An appropriate space for script readings, auditions, creative business and production/board meetings, planning or presentation as well as being a space suitable for writers or short-term production desk.

Please note: First-time hirers must allow 24hrs notice for initial booking as a staff member will need to be available to meet you at the studio to induct you into the space. Venue inspections for this studio can be prearranged with Management. All hirers must adhere to the Studio’s Terms and Conditions.

L2.1: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Largest of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space accommodates performance based companies and collectives preparing for production. With a minimum 10 hour booking per day, this space provides exclusive access to allow for rehearsal mark-up and the use of sets/props for the duration of the weekly hire period.
L3.1: Meeting Room at CoSCS

Located on the Arts Business floor of the City of Sydney Creative Studios, this space is appropriate for staff/board meetings, strategic planning, video conferencing as well as being suitable for writers or short-term production desks (subject to availability).
L7: Apartment at CoSCS

A live/work apartment for visiting regional, interstate and international artists contracted by a local arts organisation, festival or institution. This 2-person apartment features separate living/kitchen area, walk-in wardrobe, accessible bathroom with shower and an adjoining studio.
L2.2: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Smaller of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space is designed for performing artists training or building their creative practice as well as being a venue suitable for auditions, classes and workshops.
L2: Wardrobe at CoSCS

In close proximity to the two rehearsal spaces on Level 2 at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the Wardrobe space is designed for costume fittings and alterations, laundry, hair and make-up. The space is also available for costume based workshops and classes.
L6.9: Screening Room at CoSCS

This versatile space is ideal for: script reads, staff/board meetings, strategic planning, video conferencing, screening purposes, small group rehearsals and small scale video production.
