The title of one of Bee Mile’s unpublished journals; her articulate, humorous and subversive voice resonates strongly today in Sydney's stifling bureaucracy. Bee was transgressive and a bohemian rebel who constantly challenged the power structures of the time. An inspiration screaming "NO!" to a similar oppressive world.

Vashti is a Sydney theatre and cabaret artist who has written and performed much-acclaimed work about Sydney's historical characters. "Mum's In: Stories from Razorhust" was a dark comedy examining the lives and social constructs around five Sydney underground characters led by the famous Kate Leigh and Tilly Devine. This led to the writing of "Piccolo Tales" that looked at the passing of 50 years through the eyes of Vittorio, the legendary owner of the Kings Cross cafe Piccolo Bar.
Liesel Badorrek will be directing these performances. Liesel has worked extensively as a director, writer and performer.
