MIXED-REALITY TRANSGLOBAL PERFORMANCE
Produced by Stalker / Box of Birds. Performed by Cloe Fournier, Katina Olsen, Olympia Kotopoulos (Netherlands). Directed by David Clarkson and Veerle Van Overloop (Netherlands). Digital Artists Andrew Bluff, Matt Hughes and Boris Bagattini. Composer Peter Kennard. Supported by City of Sydney, The Australia Council for the Arts, Epic Games and Create NSW.

A real-time collaboration with the Netherlands, Layer tells the story of three women, each alone and isolated with multiple cultural identities. They encounter multiple layers of themselves in real, virtual, fragmented and augmented realities. Layer explores notions of self-identity, as well as the pleasures and fears we stumble upon within our socially distanced COVID selves.

THOSE WHO BUY TOGETHER - SIT TOGETHER

To assist us in allocating seats in the theatre due to COVID-19 physical distancing requirements, group bookings should consider purchasing tickets in a single transaction so we are aware you intend to sit together at the same cabaret table (albeit 1.5ms apart).

WHY NOT MAKE A NIGHT OF IT?

The Flying Nun have partnered with local bar BITTER PHEW to curate your pre-show experience in Darlinghurst. Add "Bitter Phew Reservation" to your ticket purchase (below in Extras) to secure a seat and a drink of choice from 6.30pm-7.30pm on the night of the show.
