Sydney Pemberton is a mixed media artist residing in Brand X’s TWT Artist Studios in St. Leonards. Sydney is currently working on a series about the ocean and what lies beneath and is exploring the possibilities of paper.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHAT YOU DO.

For the past few years, I have been exploring the use of found and made paper in my artworks.  I started off many years ago as a printmaker and switched to painting in acrylics.  Since then I have incorporated collage and mono-printing into a lot of my work. I am now exploring paper sculpture.

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TOOL/MATERIAL/PROCESS TO USE?

At the moment I am using glazes using binder medium on paper, canvas, and board.
