Access Parking

There is limited parking available for people with access requirements. These parking spots are on Level 2, Level 5 and Level 7 at the City of Sydney Creative Studios via 14 Wilmot Street, Sydney.

The car space is shared with the residential tower, therefore the car spaces are small. Please take this in consideration before booking a space.

There is lift access from all parking levels.

General Information

We welcome all visitors to the City of Sydney Creative Studios and are committed to making it accessible and inclusive for everyone.

There are 6 gender-neutral bathrooms throughout the building. They are single-stall accessible, with sanitary bins.
Assistance animals are welcome, and drinking water is available.
Our building is climate controlled, between 18 - 22 degrees.

Access Information

The front door to the Creative studios is 1.1 metres wide. There is lift access from ground level.
Access from ground level to level 2 also has stair access, with 46 concrete steps with aluminium stair nosing tread edges and tactile paving.
There is lift access from floors B1 - L7
There is a hearing loop in both performance spaces - L2.1 & L2.2
There is 1 accessible bathroom on each floor. The entries to these are 89cm wide. Facilities included are a baby change table, shower with railing and fold down bench.
There are 2 ambulant bathrooms located on each level. With female and male bathrooms on levels 2, 3, 5 and 7, and gender-neutral on Level 6. Entry to these bathrooms are 79cm wide.
City of Sydney Creative studios features floor to ceiling glass windows along the length of each floor. These windows are not tinted and do not have any decals.

First Aid Information

A First Aid kit is available in every shared kitchen, in the cupboard displaying the First Aid sign.

Our Spaces

Brand X offer a number of spaces for hire across Sydney to service independent performing, visual and music practitioners. Our spaces are affordable and offer a mix of shared open-plan studios or private rehearsal rooms with resources to support training, development or the creation of new work.

What is Brand X?

Brand X is a not-for-profit arts organisation run by Artists for Artists who are in the business of making space for Artists by re-purposing under-utilised properties in Sydney so performing, recording and visual art communities can practice their craft.

Brand X offers affordable, semi-permanent tenancy to visual artists, designers and craft practitioners in open-plan shared spaces and private enclosed studios.

Smaller of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space is designed for performing artists training or building their creative practice as well as being a venue suitable for auditions, classes and workshops.
L2.1: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Largest of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space accommodates performance based companies and collectives preparing for production. With a minimum 10 hour booking per day, this space provides exclusive access to allow for rehearsal mark-up and the use of sets/props for the duration of the weekly hire period.
