Written and Performed by Vonne Patiag

A solo work incorporating AV and call-and-response dynamics mixed in with a riotous monologue about the culminating impact of casual racism. Blanco – a struggling Asian actor – reviews the short ‘life cycle’ of his career with documentarian flair, unpacking the emotional labour and exhaustion of being a POC artist in Australia.

Recorded at The Flying Nun on 20 November 2020 in front of a live audience.
