Introducing our New Access Consultant for Brand X

Brand X welcomes professional theatre director Dan Graham to the newly created position of Access Consultant. Dan will convene and lead an Access Panel of professional artists with a disability to audit Brand X and recommend accessibility improvements, guided by an Inclusion Action Plan which will set targets to ensure the organisation is inclusive for all professional artists in Sydney. MEET THE ARTIST BY BRAND X Claire Conroy

Claire Conroy is a visual artist working in photography and installation who has a studio space in our Arts Incubator. Amoungst other things Claire constructs her own pinhole cameras and darkrooms from found objects, including a 1950s caravan, a water tank, and a three-tonne truck – very cool! Lately, she has been busy in the darkroom refining a series of sea monsters for her exhibition Monstrous at Rouge Pop-up Gallery in Redfern opening this Saturday 17th October. Read more
