Smaller of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space is designed for performing artists training or building their creative practice as well as being a venue suitable for auditions, classes and workshops. This space is not suitable for public performance or events.

Note

Appointment required to access spaces. Once you have booked, you will need to be inducted by a venue technician. During this induction you will be handed a security fob for venue access – active for the duration of your booking.

Please plan ahead for bookings on public holidays, or outside staff working hours, which are Monday-Friday (8am - 8pm), and Saturday-Sunday (10am - 4pm).

Largest visual arts space offering sink and paint trap. Work limited to use of non-toxic/fume materials and environmentally responsible practices. Spaces may be suitable for desk-based practice, design, textiles, drawing, painting, illustration, digital, small sculpture, printing.
L2.1: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Largest of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space accommodates performance based companies and collectives preparing for production. With a minimum 10 hour booking per day, this space provides exclusive access to allow for rehearsal mark-up and the use of sets/props for the duration of the weekly hire period.
L6.3: Post-Production Suite at CoSCS

One of three media post-production spaces connected to Production Offices (L6.1 and L6.5) designed for digital media teams. This space comes with editing, grading and VFX and SFX software.
L3.1: Meeting Room at CoSCS

Located on the Arts Business floor of the City of Sydney Creative Studios, this space is appropriate for staff/board meetings, strategic planning, video conferencing as well as being suitable for writers or short-term production desks (subject to availability).
L7: Apartment at CoSCS

A live/work apartment for visiting regional, interstate and international artists contracted by a local arts organisation, festival or institution. This 2-person apartment features separate living/kitchen area, walk-in wardrobe, accessible bathroom with shower and an adjoining studio.
L5: Control Room at CoSCS

Designed for mixing and recording your projects, the Audio Control Room also offers capability to record music coming from any studio on Level 5 using the focusrite preamps.
L5.1: Recording Studio at CoSCS

Rehearse and record in the CoSCS largest soundproof studio. Designed to fit up to 30 musicians, the space features exceptional acoustic treatment, making it perfect for recording vocals and instruments within the room.
L5.2: Recording Studio at CoSCS

Ideal space for music lessons, music rehearsals and recordings for small groups of up to 12 musicians, with a beautiful Yamaha upright piano included in the space.
L5.4: Recording Studio at CoSCS

An intimate production and recording room, the space is designed for a single musician to rehearse and record in.
L6.1: Production Office at CoSCS

One of two production offices connected to Post-Production Suites (L6.2-L6.4) designed for digital media teams. This space is ideal for brainstorming, creative direction, scripting, planning and organising the logistics on projects.
