Artist Pass Terms and Conditions

An Artist Pass is an annual (365 day) subscription to Brand X Productions Incorporated (ABN: 14045697198) starting from the date of the first payment.

An Artist Pass supports Brand X as a not-for-profit organisation and entitles subscribers to subsidised hire for our studios, discounted tickets to our Flying Nun shows and Artist-2-Artist programs, a monthly newsletter, and invitations to our events and launches.

Artist Pass subscribers must identify as a professional (emerging or established) individual performing, recording or visual artist or a recognised arts organisation.

Subscription is non-transferable and receipts will be issued in the name of the subscribed individual or subscribed organisation.

At Brand X’s discretion, fraudulent subscriptions will be deleted from the system with the right of refund waived.

The annual charge for an Artist Pass is $20.00 for individuals and $100 for organisations (including GST) and may incur credit card fees (depending on your payment method).

Subscription will automatically renew on a yearly basis with payment scheduled for one day before the end of the annual term.

Payments are deducted from the debit or credit card provided by the subscriber at subscription using the Stripe payment platform (a PCI DSS compliant platform).

Tax receipts are automatically generated by the Stripe platform to include the name of the subscriber (individual or organisation) only.

Notification of upcoming automatic renewal will be sent out via email 7 days before the scheduled payment date.

If payment is not successful on the due date the Artist Pass subscription will be frozen. Notification of a failed payment will be sent via email.

A Subscriber can opt out of automatic renewal at any time by notifying Brand X.

If a Subscriber has elected to opt out of automatic renewal, notification of expiry of the Artist Pass will be sent via email 7 days before expiry. If the subscription has not been renewed by the expiry date the Artist Pass subscription will be frozen.

If a Subscriber chooses to cancel their subscription (yearly) during the membership term, a refund may be offered at the discretion of Brand X.

Brand X offer a number of spaces for hire across Sydney to service independent performing, visual and music practitioners. Our spaces are affordable and offer a mix of shared open-plan studios or private rehearsal rooms with resources to support training, development or the creation of new work.

What is Brand X?

Brand X is a not-for-profit arts organisation run by Artists for Artists who are in the business of making space for Artists by re-purposing under-utilised properties in Sydney so performing, recording and visual art communities can practice their craft.
TWT Visual Arts Studio – St Leonards

Brand X offers affordable, semi-permanent tenancy to visual artists, designers and craft practitioners in open-plan shared spaces and private enclosed studios.
L2.2: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Smaller of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space is designed for performing artists training or building their creative practice as well as being a venue suitable for auditions, classes and workshops.
L2.1: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Largest of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space accommodates performance based companies and collectives preparing for production. With a minimum 10 hour booking per day, this space provides exclusive access to allow for rehearsal mark-up and the use of sets/props for the duration of the weekly hire period.
