The Flying Nun is for contemporary and experimental artists developing new work, new ideas and new approaches to performance. No idea is too out-there, too fresh or too risky to be considered. 

Supporting projects that are in the late stages of development with one week of rehearsal space, a two night performance run at our East Sydney Community and Arts Centre (ESCAC) in Darlinghurst, $1300 stipend, 70–80% of box office income, marketing support and technical equipment.

Brand X is committed to providing a safe space for diversity and accessibility. This season we are offering additional rehearsal time and funding for emerging artists, artists with diverse lived experience and projects focused on presenting an accessible performance.
