Brand X considers the health and safety of its artists, staff, hirers and their guest our highest priority. A copy of our COVID-19 Safety Plan is located in our venues. We recommend all users to have downloaded the government’s COVIDSafe app and to not switch off their devises while in the venue but consider “flight mode” with Bluetooth activated.

It is important that you follow these instructions to ensure everyone is safe at our venues and that we can keep our doors open:

1. DON'T ENTER THE VENUE IF YOU PRESENT SYMPTOMS

If you have cold or flu-like symptoms, please avoid using any Brand X venues for the safety of other users. You should seek medical advice and get tested for COVID-19. You should get tested even if your symptoms are mild before you come to any of our venues.

2. REGISTER YOURSELF BEFORE ENTERING ANY BRAND X VENUE

Following NSW Health regulations, Brand X needs to keep a record of everyone who visits our venues.

- Register yourself by scanning the QR code located at the entrance to our venues.

- Fill in the online form. This data will be kept for 28 days and will only be used if requested by NSW Health.

- Send to submit it. You will get an automatic email to confirm your registration - valid for that day only.

3. KEEP GOOD HYGIENE AND SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES AT ALL TIMES

- Use the products supplied at the venue to keep your hands clean and sanitised.

- Avoid gatherings of more than 20 people. (TWT Rehearsal space can fit 15 people following the "4sq meter distance" rule).

- Keep 1.5 metres away from others (4sq metres if working on the rehearsal room floor).

- Wipe down any surfaces that you touch.

- Avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses.

4. (JUST FOR BRAND X HIRERS).

Follow the cleaning instructions before you leave the space. Brand X has added extra time to your booking to ensure that you take the time to clean the space after your use:

- Clean and disinfect surfaces you have touched during your time at our space such as keypads, bench-tops, chairs, doorknobs.

- Disinfect the floor of the rehearsal room with the products provided at the venue.

- Leave the cleaning products in the area indicated.

Brand X offer a number of spaces for hire across Sydney to service independent performing, visual and music practitioners. Our spaces are affordable and offer a mix of shared open-plan studios or private rehearsal rooms with resources to support training, development or the creation of new work.

What is Brand X?

Brand X is a not-for-profit arts organisation run by Artists for Artists who are in the business of making space for Artists by re-purposing under-utilised properties in Sydney so performing, recording and visual art communities can practice their craft.
TWT Visual Arts Studio – St Leonards

Brand X offers affordable, semi-permanent tenancy to visual artists, designers and craft practitioners in open-plan shared spaces and private enclosed studios.
L2.2: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Smaller of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space is designed for performing artists training or building their creative practice as well as being a venue suitable for auditions, classes and workshops.
L2.1: Rehearsal Space at CoSCS

Largest of two rehearsal spaces at the City of Sydney Creative Studios, the space accommodates performance based companies and collectives preparing for production. With a minimum 10 hour booking per day, this space provides exclusive access to allow for rehearsal mark-up and the use of sets/props for the duration of the weekly hire period.
