Brand X is COVID SAFE

COVID-19 UPDATE: This space will reopen from Monday October 18 for fully vaccinated hirers only.

Brand X considers the health and safety of its artists, staff, hirers and their guest our highest priority. In response to COVID-19, we require all users of this space to:

  • Stay at home if you feel unwell (no cancellation fees will apply if you feel sick).
  • Ensure all participants are fully vaccinated by viewing their proof of vaccination via digital certificate or immunisation history statement upon successful QR code scan check-in at the studio’s entrance.
  • Face masks must be worn in all indoor areas.
  • Ensure capacity does not exceed 5 participants (excluding staff) in the meeting room.
  • Maintain physical distancing of 1.5metres at all times where possible.
  • If suitable, work with the windows open to ensure clean and fresh airflow.
  • Sanitize your hands and all surfaces you touch using the sterilizing products supplied.

Failure to comply may result in an on-the-spot fine issued by NSW Police.

Users need to be aware that NSW Health is operating a COVID-19 Testing Clinic in the lower hall and therefore Brand X have separated our rehearsal space in the upper hall from their operation downstairs. Access to the lower hall toilets is not permitted during clinic operating hours, but users are welcome to use the accessible toilet next to the upper hall entrance.

The Meeting Room is situated in the East Sydney Community and Arts Centre (ESCAC) centrally located in Darlinghurst’s creative hub made possible through the generous support of City of Sydney. An appropriate space for script readings, auditions, creative business and production/board meetings, planning or presentation as well as being a space suitable for writers or short-term production desk.

Please note: First-time hirers must allow 24hrs notice for initial booking as a staff member will need to be available to meet you at the studio to induct you into the space.
