What’s the nearest public transport?

The nearest public transport is Bus - Oxford St bus stop - 333, 373, 399, 392, 394 and M10 buses (2min walk); or Train - Museum Station (10min walk).


Does the venue have parking?

There is on the street metered parking limited to 2 hours.

For all day parking, the nearest parking lot is Wilson Parking, 70 Riley Street, Sydney open 6am - 10pm Monday - Wednesday, 6am - 11pm Thursday - Friday and 7am - 10pm Saturday - Sunday. 

Alternatively, The Domain Wilson Parking on St Mary Street, Sydney is open 24/7 and offer slightly cheaper rates, with more car spaces available. 


Can we do a public event?

Public events are permitted at the East Sydney Community & Arts Centre (ESCAC).

When can I have venue access?

The foyer space is accessible 15 mins prior to your booking, and the studio will be available from your booked time. 

Please be aware that during busier periods bookings can be back to back. You will need to include your setup and pack down times as part of your booking. 


How do I access the venue?

A member of staff will contact you after you have made your booking to supply you with a unique security code. You can use this to enter the building, studio space and to disarm the alarm. This unique code is registered with City security under your name, so please be mindful when using your code. 


Can I use naked flame or smoke/haze in your venue? 

Naked flame, smoke or haze of any kind is not allowed in the City of Sydney venues. This includes candles, incense, vapes and cigarettes.
